Mukti mourns: condoles providing financial assistance to the family of the deceased
On 05 February 2025, Mukti Cox's Bazar extended financial support to the family of the late Rabeya Akter, a Host Mentor Teacher, who tragically lost her life in a road accident. A cheque of BDT 2,00,000 was handed over to her family at the FDMN Education Project Office located at Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar.
The Chief Executive of Mukti Cox's Bazar, Mr. Bimal Chandra Dey Sarker led the event, accompanied by Director- HR & Admin, Mr. Sujit Kumar Bhowmik; Director- M&E, Mr. Md. Oxfam in Bangladesh and Oxfam Novib visit Mukti Cox’s Bazar’s DFAT AHP project
On 9 February 2025, high officials from Oxfam in Bangladesh and Oxfam Novib interacted with participants of the “DFAT AHP Bangladesh Rohingya Response Phase IV Inclusive” Project (CPPC) implemented by Mukti Cox's Bazar at Hnila Union in Teknaf Upazila.
Annual Staff Gathering-2025 A nexus of Tradition and Joy!
The Annual Staff Gathering-2025 of Mukti Cox's Bazar took place on 28 February 2025. The meeting was not just an event but was a festival that started at Kavita Chattar with a sports competition and ended with cultural programs, raffle draws, prize distribution and barbecue in the conference room of Mukti Bhaban, the organization's head office.
Mukti Cox's Bazar celebrates Independence Day and observes National Day-2025
On 26 March 2025, "Mukti Cox's Bazar" celebrated the 55th Independence Day and National Day-2025 with due dignity and solemnity by hoisting the national flag at the organization's head office "Mukti Bhaban" located at Goldighirpar.
Holding a rally with the participation of more than a hundred staff and placing wreaths at the Cox’s Bazar Central Shaheed Minar to pay tribute to the martyrs of the War of Liberation in 1971 and the July uprising of 2024, a discussion meeting and a dazzling cultural program were organized at the Head Office auditorium from 9:00 am.
Pitha Festival organized by Mukti Cox’s Bazar!
On 23 January 2025, Mukti Cox's Bazar celebrated a unique Pitha Festival where a total of 21 types of native pithapuli including delicious pithas such as Bhapa Pitha, Atikka Pitha, Puli Pitha, Patisapta, Chitai Pitha, Dudh Chitai, Miskal Pitha, Kathalpata Pitha, Chui Pitha and Kamala Pitha were displayed. Along with a variety of delicious pithas, the evening was filled with mesmerizing cultural performances by the employees.
Ensuring a safe work environment —Fire safety drill at Mukti Cox’s bazar
On 19 February 2025, Mukti Cox’s Bazar organized a hands-on fire extinguisher training session at its Head Office. The attendees learned how to use the extinguisher with the PASS method (Pull, Aim, Squeeze, Sweep) and had the opportunity to practice putting out fires by applying the acquired knowledge practically in a demonstration.
The session was inaugurated by organization’s Chief Executive, Mr. Bimal Chandra Dey Sarker, who not only led the way but also actively participated in the training.
ECE Working Group Members Visit Mukti’s ECE Centers
On 11 March 2025, members of the Early Childhood Education Working Group (ECE WG) visited the Lamp and Nurium ECE Centers in Camp-1W to observe ongoing educational activities and to assess the quality of education provided to learners in the Rohingya camps. More >>
