Mukti Observes the 56th Independence and National Day-2026!
On 26th March 2026, Mukti Cox’s Bazar observed the 56th Independence and National Day of Bangladesh with due respect and solemnity. To commemorate this historic occasion, the organization arranged a series of activities aimed at honoring the martyrs, Biranganas (war heroines), and all those who made immense sacrifices for the independence during the Liberation War of 1971.
The day’s program commenced with the hoisting of the national flag at Mukti Bhaban, the organization’s head office located at Goldighirpar in Cox’s Bazar. Staff members gathered to pay tribute to the brave sons and daughters of the nation who sacrificed their lives for the independence and sovereignty of Bangladesh. The national anthem was performed with pride and reverence, reflecting the spirit of independence and national unity.
As part of the celebration, a colorful rally was organized with the participation of staff members of Mukti. The rally marched through important roads of the town. Following the rally, a delegation from Mukti Cox’s Bazar laid floral wreaths at the Cox’s Bazar Central Shaheed Minar.
The observance served as a meaningful occasion to reflect on the history of Bangladesh’s Liberation War, honor the sacrifices of its heroes, and renew commitment to the values of freedom, democracy, and social justice. Mukti Cox’s Bazar firmly believes that preserving and promoting the spirit of the Liberation War among future generations is essential for building a more equitable, progressive, and inclusive society.
