Mukti Distributes Cash Grants!
With funding from Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and technical support from International Organization for Migration (IOM), Mukti Cox's Bazar successfully distributed cash grants to Rohingya women project-participants under the project “Empowering Rohingya Entrepreneurs through Skills, Financial Access, and Market Formalization (ERESFM)”.
A total of 200 Rohingya women are being supported through this project to enhance their economic resilience and livelihood stability through entrepreneurship.
As part of the distribution, 75 participants in Camp-04 received 15,000 BDT each on 1st March 2026. Similarly, on 31 March 2026, another 125 participants (50 from Camp-12 and 75 from Camp-19) also received 15,000 BDT each as the 1st installment.
The cash distribution at Camp-04 was attended by Ms. Suraiya Akter Swety (CiC of Camp-04), along with Mr. Bimal Chandra Dey Sarker, Chief Executive of Mukti Cox's Bazar. In Camp-12, Mr. Minhajul Islam (CiC of Camp-12) was present, while in Camp-19, Mr. Asgar Ali (CiC of Camp-19) graced the occasion. The overall distribution was smoothly executed by Mukti’s dedicated ERESFM Project Team, Finance Team, and M&E Team.
These cash grants aim to strengthen the economic resilience and overall livelihood stability of the Rohingya women participants, helping them build sustainable businesses and improve their family livelihoods.
