World Bank Visits LCs of Mukti Cox’s Bazar!
A delegation from the World Bank visited the “Bornomala” Child Learning Center cluster under the Education Program of Mukti Cox’s Bazar in Camp-2W on 15 October 2025.
The visiting team included Disaster Risk Management Specialist of the World Bank Mr. Bramka Arga Jafino and another official Swarna Kazi. During the visit, they observed teaching-learning activities and interacted with teachers and learners enrolled in the secondary-level program.
Following the visit, Mr. Bramka Arga Jafino shared his remarks in the visitor’s register: “I visited the multi-purpose learning center and also met with the students and the teachers. It is great to see that the building is being used and that students are learning with enthusiasm. Wishing all the best for the students.”
The visit reflects the World Bank’s continued attention to education and resilience-building initiatives within the Rohingya camps, acknowledging the role of learning centers in fostering hope and opportunities for Rohingya children.
With support from UNICEF, Mukti Cox’s Bazar remains committed to strengthening education services and creating a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment for Rohingya children and youth.
