Mukti Holds Safeguarding & PSEA Training!
On 24 November 2025, a training on Safeguarding & PSEA was held for the host and Rohingya volunteers from 07 humanitarian organizations at Camp-17 under the "Gender Responsive Assistance for Self-Reliance of Rohingya Women and Girls in Cox’s Bazar (GRAWS) project, implemented by Mukti Cox's Bazar with funding from Global Affairs Canada (GAC) under the BRAC Pooled Fund and DFAT.
The day-long training, organized at the GRAWS Training Center of Mukti Cox's Bazar located at Camp-17, was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Mr. Syed Lutful Kabir Chowdhury, Deputy Chief Executive of Mukti Cox's Bazar. On the other hand, Puja Bhattacharya (Safeguarding Focal of Mukti Cox's Bazar) and Anjuman Hossain (Manager-Training) attended the training event as the trainers. In addition, Project Managers of BRAC, namely, Mr. Alauddin and Mr. Kamrul Islam were also present as the special discussants.
A total of 22 host and Rohingya volunteers from 06 organizations (Gana Unnayan Kendra, Shushilan, Aman, Pulse Bangladesh, Rokeya Foundation, and Songshoptaque) participated in this successfully organized training, including 13 male and 09 female volunteers. Apart from trainees from other organizations, trainees from Mukti Cox's Bazar also took part in this training.
This training on Safeguarding and PSEA organized by Mukti Cox's Bazar served as an important platform for host and Rohingya volunteers through which they will play an effective role in the protection and development of the community by acquiring theoretical and practical knowledge on Safeguarding and PSEA and reflecting on the knowledge gained in the workplace.
Apart from the guests and the trainers, Mr. ADM Badruddoza (Project Manager, GRAWS) and Mr. Abdul Halim (Finance Officer, GRAWS) were also present at the training event.
