Mukti Holds Gender Sensitization Training at Teknaf!
Girls Get Equal 2.0 (GGE 2.0) Project, implemented by Mukti Cox’s Bazar with technical support from Plan International Bangladesh and funded by NORAD, organized a two-day training on Gender Sensitization on 1–2 March 2026.
The training, held at Central Resort of Teknaf, was attended by 35 participants (Female-21, Male-14) including the GGE 2.0 project staff along with representatives from the Mukti Cox's Bazar Head Office.
In his inaugural speech, Mr. Md. Monjurul Alam (Project Coordinator, GGE2.0), described the objectives of the training and the positive changes GGE 2.0 will bring for its project-participants in the long run.
The two-day interactive training, facilitated by Sanjida Ahmed, Gender, Diversity, Inclusion and Protection (GDIP) Advisor of Plan International Bangladesh, included group work, role play, and participatory discussions to ensure active engagement of the participants. Key topics covered during the sessions were Social Norms, Power Balance, Intersectionality, Feminist Leadership Principle, and the Gender Transformative Approach.
