Mukti Builds Capacity!
Mukti Builds Capacity!
With a view to successfully adapting to the evolving context of the humanitarian and development sector and enhancing the capacity of its staff, Mukti Cox’s Bazar organized a day-long training on project proposal development and donor reporting.
The training was held on 30 December 2025 at the head office of Mukti Cox’s Bazar with support from BRAC Pooled Fund. Recognizing the importance of developing high-quality project proposals, mobilizing resources effectively, and preparing timely, evidence-based reports that meet donor requirements, the organization arranged this training to strengthen the knowledge and skills of its staff. The training would contribute not only to the professional development of the participants but also to the overall institutional capacity of the organization.
Covered topics included different aspects of project proposal writing, including problem and context analysis, logical framework development, formulation of objectives and expected results, budget preparation, resource mobilization strategies, and the preparation of quality donor reports. In addition, participants engaged in productive discussions on bilateral and multilateral relationship management, maintaining effective communication with donors, partnership development, and strategies for presenting project progress and achievements in a clear and professional manner.
The training incorporated interactive learning methods, including group discussions, experience-sharing sessions, practical case analyses, and question-and-answer sessions. These segments provided participants with valuable opportunities to gain practical knowledge and develop the skills required for effective proposal writing and donor reporting.
A total of 23 participants (6 women and 17 men) attended the training. Participants expressed their satisfaction with the content and facilitation of the sessions and affirmed their commitment to applying the knowledge and skills acquired through the training in their respective areas of work.
During the closing session, Chief Executive of Mukti Cox’s Bazar Bimal Chandra Dey Sarker extended his appreciation to the trainers for their valuable contributions. Moreover, he encouraged the participants to apply their newly acquired knowledge and skills in practice to enhance the effectiveness, accountability, and impact of the organization’s interventions. The speakers were hopeful that similar capacity-building initiatives would continue in the future and further contribute to making the work of Mukti Cox’s Bazar more dynamic, effective, and sustainable within the humanitarian and development sector.
