Mukti holds tree plantation program to celebrate “Youth Festival-2025”
The ENRICH Program, jointly funded by Mukti Cox's Bazar and Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF), celebrated the “Youth Festival-2025” and held a Tree Plantation Program on 3rd August 2025 at the ENRICH Offices of Bharuakhali, Sadar Upazila of Cox's Bazar and Jalalabad Union of Eidgaon Upazila.
The guests included Mr. Nurul Amin, Headmaster of Bharuakhali Adarsha High School; Mr. Mintu Kanti Dey, Area Manager of Mukti Cox's Bazar’s Micro-Credit Assistance Program (MCAP); Mr. Md. Mostafizur Rahman, Branch Manager of Eidgaon Branch Micro-Credit Assistance Program (MCAP); assistant teachers of Bharuakhali Adarsha High School and project officers of the ENRICH Program.
The program distributed 100 seedlings of guava, jackfruit and lemon trees amongst school and college going teenagers and students. In addition to planting saplings in the schools and surrounding wastelands under the leadership of the students and teenagers, the importance and necessity of tree plantation were discussed among them and they were motivated to plant more trees.
Each student pledged to plant five more saplings on their own. The guests and participants thanked Mukti Cox's Bazar and PKSF for taking timely steps to protect the environment.
