Mukti Visits CCDB Climate Centre!
Under the “Strengthening Capacity and Food Security of Rohingya and Host Community in Cox’s Bazar through Climate Adaptive Technology” project, implemented by Mukti cox’s Bazar with financial and technical support from Oxfam in Bangladesh, Mukti Cox's Bazar organized a learning visit to the Christian Commission for Development in Bangladesh (CCDB) Climate Centre on 17–18 December 2025.
A total of 14 staff and 01 nursery owner joined the visit and a workshop was held there. Mr. Bimal Chandra Dey Sarker, Chief Executive of Mukti Cox’s Bazar, inaugurated the workshop where Mr. Mostofa Ali, Programme Coordinator, Oxfam; Mr. Shariful Islam, Senior Programme Officer, Oxfam; Mr. MD Khairul Islam, Director-M&E, Mukti Cox’s Bazar also actively participated and highlighted the learnings during field-level demonstrations of climate-smart technologies.
All participants committed to practice these learnings to increase homestead production among project participants, ensuring stronger food security and resilience for both Rohingya and host communities.
