Empowering Small-Scale Farmers for a Resilient Future!
On 28 May 2025, Mukti Cox’s Bazar, with financial support from IVY Japan, successfully organized an Inputs Distribution event of Agricultural Materials at the Ramu Project Office under its “Improved Small-scale Farmers’ Livelihoods (ISFL)” Project.
A total of 160 beneficiaries from Ward 01 and 02 of Kauarkhop Union, Ramu upazila, received essential agro-inputs including seeds, seedling kits, poultry housing materials, and more. This initiative aimed to (a) Support small-scale poultry farming for income generation (b) Improve poultry health and boost productivity (c) Enhance household nutrition through egg and meat production (d) Reduce mortality and strengthen poultry biosecurity and (e) Create livelihood opportunities for women and youth.
The distribution event began with a warm welcome by Technical Officer Mr. Bijoy Kumar Barua, followed by remarks from Project PC Mr. Osman Gani and Ward Member Mr. Mir Kashem, who explained the project’s goals and transparent selection process. The distribution was officially inaugurated by Mr. Tofael Islam, Manager–M&E, Mukti’s Head Office.
