Mukti hosts Linkage Meeting to Boost Agriculture & Market Access
On 11th August 2025, the Gender Responsive Assistance for Self-Reliance of Rohingya Women and Girls in Cox’s Bazar (GRAWS) project, implemented by Mukti Cox’s Bazar with the support of BRAC Pooled Fund, organized an impactful Linkage Meeting at the GRAWS Training Center in Camp-17. The meeting brought together input suppliers, buyers, Majhis, Imams, and other community stakeholders.
The event served as a platform for fostering mutual understanding, strengthening relationships, and promoting inclusive development. A total of 40 participants (30 female and 10 male participants), where 02 participants were Persons with Disabilities, took part in the meeting.
The Chief Guest, Tapti Chakma, (Camp-in-Charge and Senior Assistant Secretary), along with speakers ADM Badruddoza (Project Manager, GRAWS) and Abdul Halim (Finance Officer) contributed valuable insights. The event was skillfully moderated by Mahmudul Hasan (Project Officer, GRAWS).
Discussions centered on enhancing agricultural productivity, improving market linkages, ensuring quality input supply, and empowering community-led initiatives. Speakers emphasized that trust and collaboration between buyers and suppliers are key to accelerating economic progress. Participants expressed optimism that such initiatives will pave the way for sustainable development and long-term community resilience.
