Hanifi Book distributed
On 26 May 2024, the distribution of textbooks in the Rohingya Hanifi script was successfully completed. These textbooks were distributed to 400 students attending the learning center in Camp-5 as part of the "Education Program for the FDMN & Host Community Children in Cox's Bazar" project. This initiative was implemented by Mukti Cox's Bazar and generously funded by Children on the Edge. The distribution of Hanifi textbooks took place every Sunday. Project manager Abdullah Al Mamun Shaheen, along with other esteemed project officials were present at the book distribution ceremony. Additionally, Bangladeshi, and Burmese teachers also attended the program to support this noble cause. 11-year-old Noor is a student at one of the learning centers in Kutupalong refugee camp. She told us how much she enjoyed the school, especially, taking part in the digital lessons. She said, “I can easily understand the video lessons, so I give my full attention to the class, and enjoy them.”
