Upazila-level Inception Workshop (EMASF)
On June 11, 2024, EMASF Project by Mukti Cox’s Bazar held a highly impactful Inception Workshop at Teknaf Upazila Hall Room. This event brought together a diverse group of participants, including representatives from various organizations, NGO delegates and media professionals from both print and electronic platforms. Government officials from Teknaf Upazila, UP Chairman and members of Whykong Union and the project team from Mukti Cox's Bazar actively engaged in this enlightening session. The workshop was honored by the presence of Syed Lutful Kabir Chowdhury, Deputy Chief Executive of Mukti Cox's Bazar, who presided over the event. The Chief Guest, Mr. Adnan Chowdhury, Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) was accompanied by several special guests, including Upazila Engineer Rabiul Hossain, Upazila Rural Development Officer (URDO) Cinnmoy Barua Manas, Project Implementation Officer (PIO) Habibur Rahman and Agricultural Extension Officer (AEO) Md. Morshedul Alam. A total of 35 participants (33 men and 2 women) attended the workshop, which aimed to share vital project information, service modalities, beneficiary details, project insights and the organizational mandate. Project Coordinator Md. Osman Gani delivered a dynamic and interactive PowerPoint presentation, providing a comprehensive overview of the project's modality and the organizational mission. He elaborated on how Mukti Cox’s Bazar is implementing the EMASF Project with funding from IVY Japan across wards 1, 2, 4, 5, and 9 of Whykong Union. The project includes training on vegetable production for 250 families in Whykong Union, along with the provision of seeds, compost holes, chicken coops, native hens and native chickens. Additionally, 693 meters of paved roads will be constructed to improve the market.
