Sports gear giveaway for youth wellbeing Initiative by FDMN education project

On 25 June 2024, a training programme titled " Play & Thrive: Sports gear giveaway for youth wellbeing " was held at the Camp-19 Conference Room. The Camp-in-Charge inaugurated the event with an opening remark. The main objective of the event was to encourage the youth (Both boys and girls) in sports to avoid the risk of other negative coping mechanisms. The session focused on empowering young individuals with the necessary knowledge and skills to advocate for gender equality. Participants engaged themselves in dynamic discussions and collaborative activities addressing various aspects of gender inequality. The participants left with a solid understanding of gender equality issues and practical methods to address them. They expressed a strong commitment to utilizing this knowledge to promote gender equality within their communities. The workshop effectively built the participants' skills and confidence, enabling them to advocate for a more equitable society.
