Mukti celebrates Upazila Day-2025: Mini Marathon & Cycle Rally held!
On 14 May 2025, on the occasion of Upazila Day-2025 celebration under the ENRICH Project, implemented by Mukti Cox’s Bazar and jointly funded by Mukti Cox's Bazar and Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF), a mini marathon and a cycle rally was held at Chaufaldandi Adarsha High School ground in Chaufaldandi Union.
Members of "ENRICH Youth Club" of Cox's Bazar Sadar Upazila along with more than hundred teenagers from 06 unions of Cox’s Bazar Sadar, including Cox's Bazar Municipality, participated in that mini marathon and cycle rally with immense eagerness.
In that colorful event, Deputy Chief Executive of Mukti Cox's Bazar Mr. Syed Lutful Kabir Chowdhury was present as the Chief Guest, while, Headteacher of Chaufaldandi Adarsha High School Mr. Kamrul Zaman appeared as the Special Guest. Apart from that, Mr. Syed Karim, Branch Manager of Micro Credit Assistance Program (MCAP), and all the staff of the ENRICH Project were present at the event.
Describing adolescence as the golden period in human life and a time of emerging potential, the Chief Guest discussed the importance and significance of proper guidance and positive activities during this time and said in his insightful and inspiring speech, "Mini marathons or other cultural practices are not just competitions, these are exercises in self-development, health awareness and team spirit. I firmly believe that sports and cultural activities teach teenagers self-control and prevent them from engaging in activities that are harmful to society. Mukti Cox's Bazar is not just an institution, it acts as a catalyst in developing an enlightened, morally & ethically strong, and skilled youth.” He concluded his speech by expressing sincere thanks to the organizers and best wishes to the participating teenagers. In his speech, the Special Guest thanked Mukti Cox's Bazar for organizing this exceptional event.
Upazila Coordinator of the ENRICH project, Hagmaity Tripura Angela and Mr. Ruhul Amin, assisted by Assistant Coordinator Shafiul Alam and ENRICH Health Officer Mr. Saiful Islam, organized and managed the entire event.
