Delegates from the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands hosted by Mukti Cox's Bazar
On 28 April 2024, Mukti Cox’s Bazar had the honor of hosting delegates from the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, including Laura Brinks, Senior Policy Officer, PSEA Netherlands MFA; Martina Brostrom, Project Manager, CHS Alliance; Jan, First Secretary of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Bangladesh; Lechelle, Reporting Officer, CHS Alliance; and Syed Rashed bin Jamal, Liaison Officer, CHS Alliance.
During their visit, the delegates engaged in discussions with the Camp in-Charges, community leaders, Majhis, and women leaders at camps 04 and 10 regarding the Survivor-Centre Approaches to PSEAH. They explored the impacts and challenges of the project, with the community actively participating and strongly recommending the scaling up of the intervention.
The delegation also observed door-to-door sessions with Rohingya families on community-based PSEAH awareness to better understand their challenges and needs for future interventions. They expressed high satisfaction with the positive outcomes of PSEAH awareness at the community level. Bimal Chandra Dey Sarker, Chief Executive of Mukti Cox’s Bazar, accompanied the delegation and extended his heartfelt thanks for their significant and invaluable contributions to the field of PSEAH.
