Mukti Cox's Bazar celebrates Victory Day-2024

On 16 December 2024, Mukti Cox's Bazar celebrated the Victory Day with due pomp and solemnity. On the occasion of the day, the national flag of Bangladesh was hoisted at the organization's Head Office at 6:00 am. A huge rally consisting of all staff of Mukti Cox’s Bazar reached Cox’s bazar Central Shaheed Minar and wreaths were laid to pay tribute.

After the tribute, a discussion meeting and a pleasant cultural program were organized at the head office of the organization from 08:30 in the morning. The program was attended by both the staff of Head Office and the Projects. The program became overwhelmingly enjoyable with the solo and ensembled musical performances. The former President and current Advisor of the organization, Advocate Shibu Lal Debdas, was present as the Chief Guest at the discussion meeting and the Deputy Chief Executive of the organization, Syed Lutful Kabir Chowdhury, was present as the special guest. The discussion meeting was presided over by the Chief Executive of the organization, Mr. Bimal Chandra Dey Sarker.

The Chief Guest and officials from different levels spoke at the event. All highlighted the significance of the day, remembered with deep gratitude and utmost respect the heroic sons who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the country. All emphasized that, to reap the benefits of liberty, we must focus on the goal and best use the opportunities this freedom has brought.

Chief Guest Advocate Shibu Lal Debdas expressed, "Freedom is a mindset and it has two aspects, one is the geographical structure and the other is its people. To protect freedom, we must first ensure good governance at the individual level and then establish good governance in the state through practicing it in the family and society."

The President of the discussion meeting, Chief Executive, Bimal Chandra Dey Sarker paid deep tribute to the martyrs of the Liberation War in his speech. He said that the overall movement for liberation is still going on. He mentioned the vision of Mukti Cox's Bazar and said that Mukti Cox's Bazar was established with the aim of liberating the people of this country from all kinds of discrimination, prejudice and poverty, just as the state of Bangladesh was born through the war of independence with the aim of liberating the people of this country from discrimination, exploitation, deprivation and oppression. To get the real feel of victory, everyone as an employee of Mukti Cox's Bazar will have to perform their duties sincerely and faithfully. He called upon all the staff to keep the vision of Mukti in mind and work relentlessly for the ultimate liberation of backward sections of the society. Finally, he thanked everyone for making the event successful and drew the curtain.
