On 05 November 2024, a delegation including the Ambassador of Finland Kimmo Lahdevirta visited the Child Learning Centers run by Mukti Cox's Bazar at Camp-09. The delegation visited the "Dhanshalik", "Jasmine" and "Parboti" Child Learning Centers of the said camp and observed the class activities.
The Honorable Ambassador spoke to the students, teachers and project officers about the learning practices, challenges and achievements. During the visit, Sarwar Kamal, Camp-in-charge of Camp-09, was present and highlighted the government's support in implementing education programs for the Rohingya community.
The delegation highlighted the global interest and support for education programs for the Rohingyas, called for coordination with other organizations to ensure quality education for marginalized populations, and reiterated their commitment to continue their cooperation in this effort.
