Oxfam in Bangladesh and Oxfam Novib visit Mukti Cox’s Bazar’s DFAT AHP project
On 9 February 2025, high officials from Oxfam in Bangladesh and Oxfam Novib interacted with participants of the “DFAT AHP Bangladesh Rohingya Response Phase IV Inclusive” Project (CPPC) implemented by Mukti Cox's Bazar at Hnila Union in Teknaf Upazila.
Visiting team sought to understand the opportunities the project had created for the primary project participants. They also observed climate-friendly homestead gardening and income generation activities through handicraft, block-boutique, and different other enterprises.
Mukti Cox's Bazar warmly welcomed the team including Mr. Ashish Damle, Country Director, Oxfam in Bangladesh; Pepijn Gerrits, Director Program, Board of Directors, Oxfam Novib; Gerard Steehouwer, Unit Manager, GREEN: Climate Resilient Communities, Oxfam Novib; Dabaraj Dey, Head of PMU, Oxfam in Bangladesh; Khondaker Mohammad Shamerul Huda, Development Trainee-ICAM, Oxfam in Bangladesh; Md. Moniruzzaman, WASH Coordinator, Oxfam in Bangladesh; Md. Shariful Islam, Senior Program Officer, Oxfam in Bangladesh; and Sayedul Hoque Shuvo, Program Officer, Oxfam in Bangladesh.
Mr. Syed Lutful Kabir Chowdhury, Deputy Chief Executive of Mukti Cox's Bazar warmly welcomed the visitors alongside the project staff, ensuring they were well-accompanied and guided throughout their visit.
