Learning Status Check Conducted for Learners
On 25 March 2025, Mukti Cox’s Bazar successfully carried out a Learning Status Check for the learners of KG, Grade-1 and 2 from 2nd to 6th March 2025 across 459 Learning Centers in the Rohingya camps.
This important initiative aimed to assess the learning progress, identify learning gaps and inform future teaching strategies of children enrolled, focusing on literacy of Burmese-English and numeracy skills. A total of 19,391 learners participated in the Learning Status Check. In Kindergarten, 5687 learners including 2826 girls and 2861 boys; in Grade-1, 6492 learners, including 3335 girls and 3157 boys; in Grade-2, 7212 learners including 3701 girls and 3511 boys took part in the learning status check.
Facilitated by teachers, the learning status check was conducted in a child-friendly and inclusive environment to ensure accurate results and a positive experience for the children. The data collected from the assessment will help identify learning gaps and inform future teaching strategies, enabling targeted support to improve educational outcomes.
