Cultural Competition Showcases Creativity and Talent among Rohingya Learners
A series of colorful and spirited cultural competitions were organized throughout March 2025 in seven camps (Camp 1E, 1W, 2E, 2W, 03, 09 and 17) under the Education Project for Rohingya children.
The programs were held across multiple Child Learning Centers and Community-Based Learning Facilities (CBLFs), showcasing the remarkable talents of learners through competitions in Hamd/Nat, recitation from the Holy Quran, rhymes and drawing. The final rounds of the competitions were conducted at the CiC offices of the respective camps. The events were designed to encourage creativity, build confidence and promote cultural and religious expression among the children living in the camps. With enthusiastic participation from learners of different grades, the cultural programs turned into vibrant celebrations of learning and joy.
At the end of the programs in each camp, the Camp-in-Charges (CiC) and Assistant Camp-in-Charges (ACiC) personally handed over the prizes to the winners. Their presence, along with the attendance of dedicated project staff, added great encouragement for the participating children and their families.
The cultural competition brought immense joy, a sense of community and a platform for self-expression of children living in the camps, marking a successful milestone in the continued educational and psychosocial support for the Rohingya response.
