A bi-monthly coordination meeting held at Mukti Cox’s Bazar
On 13 February 2025, Mukti Cox's Bazar organized a bi-monthly staff coordination meeting for its "Strengthening Livelihood Capacity and Increased Food Security of Rohingya and Host Communities through Climate Adaptive Technology and Solar Lighting" project.
The meeting was honored by the presence of Ms. Vanessa Little, Contract Management Coordinator, Oxfam Australia; Ms. Narelle Albrecht, Portfolio Manager, Programs and Transformation-Program Management, Oxfam Australia; and Md Mostofa Ali, Program Coordinator, Oxfam in Bangladesh.
Mr. Syed Lutful Kabir Chowdhury, Deputy Chief Executive of Mukti Cox’s Bazar, shared insights of the organization's mission, vision, and impactful interventions. He expressed immense happiness in partnering with Oxfam. Project Manager, Gazi Muhammad Asaduzzaman presented the progress and achievements of the project, showcasing the images of homestead gardening and vegetable production.
Mr. Md. Khairul Islam, Director-M&E, emphasized Mukti Cox's Bazar's key focus areas, such as, Education, Gender and Protection, Livelihood and Food Security, Climate Change and DRR, Economic Development, Health, Nutrition, and WaSH. In addition, he highlighted three cross-cutting themes-- Inclusion of Age, Disability and Diversity, Accountability to Affected Population, and Environmental Sustainability. He said that it is a matter of pride that Mukti Cox's Bazar is reaching over 02 million people with the support of 3,291 dedicated staff and volunteers.
The visitors were delighted with the project's outcomes and expressed keen interest in witnessing the impacts firsthand.
